The Sustainability Platform comprises three practice groups: Sustainable Industrial Services (IS), Sustainable Financial Services (FS), and Sustainable Energy & Public. 

Sustainable IS
Whether a DAX corporation, MSE, or family-run company: We advise our industrial customers, e.g. on ESG aspects, sustainability in risk management, the design of ESG management systems, supply chains, and governance structures.

Sustainable FS
ESG reporting, EU taxonomy, and other sustainable finance regulations: We work closely with our customers in the financial sector to face the challenges of this strictly regulated industry.

Learn how companies in the financial sector implement regulatory requirements – such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, EU Taxonomy Regulation Directive, or Disclosure Regulation – or prepare a sustainability report. Dive deeper into sustainable finance strategies, assess the processes for collecting ESG data and transition plans for decarbonization, or develop sustainable products.

  • Strategy: A comprehensive ESG approach begins with an ESG strategy. You can provide support during strategy development, strategy implementation, and its integration in daily business.
  • Risk management: Authorities have extensive expectations for the integration of ESG aspects into risk management. You contribute to ensuring these requirements are fulfilled as part of the consulting or audit.

Professional details
  • Reporting: You will audit sustainability reporting and advise customers of numerous ESG reporting projects regarding the implementation of ESG reporting requirements, e.g. relating to CSRD and EU taxonomy.
  • Data architecture: ESG data is the new gold standard in the financial sector. You provide support for the establishment of an ESG data architecture to satisfy disclosure requirements and ensure efficient internal control. You will also audit their quality, completeness, and accuracy.
