We are looking for a Security Engineer - Kubernetes (f/m/d) to join our Business Services division starting at the earliest possible opportunity.
Security Leadership – You will be responsible for maintaining and and enhancing the security posture of our self-service platform based on Kubernetes for our PwC customers. You will keep up to date with the latest security technologies and trends and ensure that our platform is always one step ahead of security threats and compliance requirements.
Platform Security – You will design and implement security measures that protect our platform. This includes developing and enforcing security policies, conducting risk assessments and threat modelling, performing technical security testing with a "Hack Yourself First" approach, evaluating pen-test reports, and actively participating in mitigation discussions.
Teamwork – You will be part of a cross-functional DevOps product team that has end-to-end responsibility for our platform. You will work according to agile principles and together with your team you will be responsible for the entire security lifecycle of our products.
You have completed your studies in business informatics, cyber security or a comparable degree programme. Alternatively, you have acquired a comparable qualification through training and relevant professional experience as a penetration tester, DevSecOps or ethical hacker.
You have several years of experience in engineering. You have a solid understanding of system security and extensive knowledge of infrastructure security. You also have experience with public cloud providers (preferably Azure) and are familiar with policy-as-code (preferably OPA or Kyverno) as well as infrastructure-as-code frameworks (preferably Terraform), Git and CI/CD pipelines.
You have in-depth experience in designing, implementing and managing security in Kubernetes clusters. You are proficient in security automation and have experience with at least one common scripting language (preferably Python/Bash).
You are fluent in English both spoken and written. German language skills are optional.
